You are all complicit in allowing @jerrybanfield to spread misinformation to the "masses" and mislead all of the sheep that read his posts at the top of Trending.

Have you no decency? I know, I know, you make a shit ton of SBD off this nonsense, why would you stop?

Take the time to actually read this bullshit, maybe then you'll reconsider.

Decency. That’s the word. That’s what a lot of people here are missing.

I get it that people care about the money. Who doesn’t. But I’m irked by this culture where it’s just okay to be an asshole with no decency. Especially the libertarian types champion this all the time: being an asshole is okay, and sometimes even celebrated, because it doesn’t infringe on someone else’s right to be an asshole.

What a way to build a wholesome and valuable culture.

Jusy because you can be an asshole, doesn’t mean you should be. Hell, it doesn’t even mean it’s okay.

·

There are plenty of people out there trying to build "a wholesome and valuable culture." Unfortunately, those people, and those groups, by and large go about with little to no support. Some, are lucky and have a little. But who can compare to the outpouring of support for the bidbots? Run a scam? Support will be plentiful. Try to build something where users can feel like they belong, and generate user retention? You'll be shown how valuable that is! By a big outpouring of nothing.

·
·

I wasn't just talking about Steemit, I meant society in general, but yeah.

·
·
·

Steemit is a microcosm of society as a whole. The statements I made above can easily be extrapolated to global society :)

The very same bullshit happens there as well. I thought the libertarian dream was supposed to be so much better? /s

·

Giving you my upvote for nailing the essence of libertarianism - be the asshole you want to be, you owe the world nothing. I could go on, but I think I'm preaching to the choir.

·
·

Yeah, you pretty much verbalized my problem with the movement. And I consider myself a libertarian myself. Sorta. Kinda. Not sure anymore, really. But that's offtopic. I'm going to make a post about it, so follow me if you want to discuss it further in the near future.

(How smooth.)

·
·
·

There's a fine line between smooth and slippery 8-).

·
·
·
·

I think there's a slope between them. No one ever talks about the smooth slope, only the sliperry one.

·
·
·

Too smooth ;)

·
·
·

I follow white rabbits so sure I'll follow you. Thanks for chiming in.

·
·

That's not the essence of libertarianism. That's the essence of keyboard warrior loser.

·
·
·

Hey, man. I’ve been meaning to sort of debate you on libertarianism for some time now. But I don’t want to take this post any further offtopic.

And I don’t mean debate in a hostile way. You know I like and respect you.

I just think there are certain nuances that mainstream libertarians aren’t getting.

And, like I said, I still uphold the principles myself.

I’ll make a post one day soon, look for it.

·
·
·
·

I'd love to man. I think I probably agree with many of your criticisms of "mainstream libertarianism." The respect is mutual. I'll keep my eyes out.

·
·
·

Thank you for making my point.

·

Errybunny should be an intellectual lover, such as myself.

People will not build a wholesome and valuable culture, because they do not allow another to be above oneself. We are a very competitive generation, if we can be called anything but pitifully spiteful.

We are so often the ones to blame for our own downfalls because we are not loving and helpful.

Oh well. Such a shame, really.
As humans we are capable of so much more.

·

He's a scammer, opportunist, and whatever comes on the degenerate scale between liar and moron. There's pretty much no other excuse for the crap he puts out there. Otherwise, I fully believe that Jerry is a really nice fellow. He's probably be great to stand around with at one of those indoor kid parks where all the dads hang out and wait in the corner. As long as no words over one syllable were exchanged.

jbc-shit.jpg

I am almost 1 year on steemit and in the beginning all was new for me but I knew that Jerry is not the right guy to follow because I knew his history with Dash community.

So he is misleading us and i was starting to love him to consider him as my mentor. WOW! People can be so funny.
Thanks for opening our eyes now everyone can see the truth it's just a matter of believing it or continue living a lie.

In the past this wouldn't happen. The large accounts would be all over it with flags galore. And where are they now? Behind the SP boosting these scams, looking the other way.

·

About a dozen witnesses came out to flag at least.

·
·

Yep, the 'active' stake of the top 20 is less than 1 bot, sigh...

wow his post is too long
anyone got a tldr version?

I commented on his earlier post telling him hope he lives up to the hype he is building for his product coming out... but honestly now that I think about it remembered this is the same Jerry who said $10 steem was going to happen.... whenever someone says "the price will be $XX.XX" you should see it as a red flag...

Hopefully since he is invested heavily into steem whatever he does he brings value to steemit..

I don't know why but every time I see a really long post from him all I can feel from it is "I pray to go back to when I had my masternode"

·

his posts are always long (and horrid). this way he can load them continuously with buzzwords. he does this for two reasons. first, to get better hits on google. second, to leave the reader's mind numb and vulnerable to his bullshit.

If I write a post that is 10 pages long each time, will I get votes like Jerry? Does making a post that long make you sound smarter than other people? I am only asking because I need to have my post trending with the least amount of effort possible. Thanks for anyone's help.

·

No. All that'll happen is no one will read it. Unless you get it to Trending via bid bots, then they'll read a few sentences, tell you you've changed their life, ask for a vote back and move on.

·
·

Damn. I read more than a few sentences of that Jerry post. I forgot to ask for a vote back. I probably deserve 2 votes from Jerry if I read a full paragraph.

Now you know better.

·

Will your 10-page post make a bunch of money? Probably not. If you want to have a chance, promise everybody $100 Steem or a daily return on their money of XX percent or something. You know, just lie and appeal to the basest instincts.

Scheming to increase your take from the pool that doesnt include creating, or curating, original content is abuse, imo.

with all respect can i ask if that reputation you have its for some kind of battle? the big guys flagged you for say some trues or something like that?

·

Much of the back and forth is for #truetrue.

Why do people have to resort to straight-up scam people?

I get it, to make money but, people should have more decency to do that kind of things, those people are scammers who should be in jail, if you try those things with IRL money you will be thrown to jail, it is plain and simple illegal.

This is a really, really, really, funny post. What little I read of it seemed like a complete meme, I don't really understand how people could take it seriously and $1000 on that shit? For real? Wtf?

@berniesanders, he just cancelled the plan of launching jbc, hahaha!

Check Jerry's latest post: https://steemit.com/steem/@jerrybanfield/ten-100-upvotes-available-daily-upvotes-indefinitely

decency?who cares here? Everybody is busy filling their own pocket or at least trying to do so..

·

Of course! It's human onion nature to get as much as possible. We all without exceptions want the dollars. Otherwise there wouldn't be comments like - great - -amazing- or some other horseshit which doesn't bring anything new to the table. Even though all that doesn't matter. There are still people who invest in the platform and help people crawl onto mountains. Have a good time!

If you send anything to this fool, then you are as much of a fool as he is. @jerrybanfield has been kicked out of everywhere and shit like this is why. He will never do as he says, so DO NOT TRUST HIM!!!!!

I haven't spent much time on his page, but what misinformation is he giving out that I am missing?

·

Bullshit about buying his SMT shares before SMT launch when he promises ridiculous upvotes he won't be able to deliver.

·

He told people to delegate + sent sbd(or steem) to his account with a "promise" to give big upvote to those people. There's no guarantee you will always get his upvote, and if u don't get his upvote, you will lose those sbd(or steem) that u sent to him and you can't do anything about that. And I don't see any words that he will allow people to undelegate, so after u delegate to him then when u want to undelegate from him...

He also said people need to pay 1 steem to access his discord channel, what kind of madness is this???
Capture.PNG
Join discord server is free, no need to spend any money.

Basically his long post is about : he ask people to send him any resources to him and that will help him to become more rich, but he doesn't care about people that will send any resources to him.

·

Check his trending post with $1k++ rewards, he said that by himself.

This is the question and answer from a comment on his post :

And if u want to talk with him on the phone, u need to pay $810 per hour.

Amazing scam technique.

Its all about money, i did one post few days ago and i said loud and clear, some of the whales doesnt want to give something back to the community even they do and have big amount of money. No real interests than taking shares from everything.

I was following him but I have discontinued it.

There is no solution yet for the bid bots. Seriously I dont make any SBD of such posts. I suggested before that the promoted posts should be pushed to the "promoted page". That way we will get rid of such posts forever :D

Hey, 1 hour on the phone for only 810 bucks is a fucking good deal. You guys need to chill the fuck out.

Wooah that's a bargain, got to act fast before this promotion ends.

You know, that is the amount i rate to spend on a call girl instead phone-calling Jerry...

I followed Jerry when I first joined a few months ago. Seemed like a good idea but as time went on I saw something was just not Right. Been doing a bunch of reading up on him. Seems there is a lot of shady shit surrounding not only him but others on this platform as well. Sad. Obviously unfollowed him today.

He's a former banker. So what do you expect?

And did you already know his real name is Jerry Seinfeld?

😂😬😩😁

yeah..you are right,,I appreciate with you..
make a shit ton of SBD!!!!!
greed!!

I don't trust people who copy others ideas and promise easy success and think eating a certain way will make a person character pure and their shit taste like rainbow icecream. I never read what he posted because I don't visit the trending page that much. I mostly look for updates for Steemit improvements. The rest of the content is not my kind of reading content.

This is the sad thing about bidbots anyone can buy a bid, maybe that isn't sad, perhaps that's fair, we all have access to high rewards if we have the funds but isn't that like the real world? Only the rich can buy advertising. Look at corporations that poison the world can buy advertising and buy off governments to look the other way and at the same time give corporations tax-free favor status because politicians need corporate funding to run for office.

Steemit has no rules, so I give everyone some advice,

"Buyer Beware," and grow up.

Until you can make a system that everyone has an even playing field to trend or be totally ignored and is safe from scammers stop whining and bickering. That's is why I don't watch the news anymore. Too much complaining and talking shit about everyone while nothing productive gets done!"

One cool thing about the bidbots is the trending page there is more variety, the circle jerkers and whales don't write anything unusual, they push content out every day, and it is the same old stuff over and over and over... At least @yallapapi is funny, and that gold dust guy was hilarious because he was so obvious, over the top huckster. I don't agree with flagging the abuser's comments to silence them while you are flagging their article, that's playing dirty. The accused person isn't allowed to defend themselves.

I'm afraid those with the power to flag people into oblivion will flag per personal views rather than have a set of rules everyone has to follow when flagging. I think bidbots should have a set limit of how much an account can buy per post, per day, and per week.ntures because of his goody-two-shoes wide open eyes and glib smile, while bragging I'm a vegan so believe my shtick because my shit doesn't stink. I guess @berniesanders is a good person and doesn't support spamming/spammers. Please do what is right and not claim you're right when you're doing the wrong thing.

Help me knock some sense into him please.
