Effective decision making

in philosophy •  9 months ago

The ability to make choices is probably the most precious gift we have as humans. The concept of free will, of purpose is built upon the simple term "choice", life is nothing but a serious of choices, and the consequence of them.

It makes you wonder however. What if you are not happy with your life? What if you are not happy with your choices? The answer is so simple, that most of us struggle to accept it. We simply have to commit to change, to a decision for change, and embrace its consequences.

"Regrets for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable" - Sydney J Harris
