SteemQuest RPG

Objective: Turn on the lights by finding the generator room, then clear out all remaining zombies.

Additional twist: Before each player takes their daily turn, roll a D20 to see if you get any bonus. Please note that the bonus must be used during the CURRENT TURN. If you do not specify to which action you wish to apply the bonus, it will be applied to your first action where applicable.

Zombie Turn after the players made their moves:

All zombies pre-existing on the board stay where they are until disturbed by a player.
Finding a zombie (during a search) disturbs them, as does moving into or through their square. (Because it is so dark in this warehouse, players can move past a zombie without engaging in battle EXCEPT when a zombie catches up to a player or when a player stops or lands in the same square or after the lights have been turned on).
In other words, as long as the lights are OUT, you can slip by a zombie before it has a chance to actually engage in melee if you are making multiple moves and move away during that turn, but it will start to chase you. If your turn ENDS in the same space as the zombie, you are locked in melee.

I will keep the shotgun because it seems like the better of the two weapons on this particular map... gives me some close combat ability as long as I am on the square on my own.

If nothing moved I move north, West or east, in that order depending on if there was anything blocking a direction.

Last night I was working on our NEXT zombie game. @pandorasbox suggested we use lots of runners to make things exciting, soooo....
I decided to make the next game kind of like the "running of the bulls"; the difference being that you will be running ahead of a hoard of runners. There will be a few times along the way where you can stop and search for items if you dare. However, at the end of the run, you will be greeted by a party of hulks, so someone better find a Molotov along the way. Oh! By the way; Did I mention that you will need to break the gate that is holding back the hulks before you can escape? Hmmm... sounds like quite a challenge to me. Any brave souls willing to do the Run of Runners?

After this one completes. It takes a few days to get everything set up for a new game, so I'm just planning ahead. Since I had a suggestion, I decided to let everyone know that I was taking heed and using that suggestion for our next game. After this game ends, I will be posting a new sign-up the same as I did for the current game. Games generally begin 24 hours after the sign-up posting goes up.

..But in this case I feel like it would still be missing pirates

It sounds great to me, could be hectic and fun!
Though keep in mind it usually takes us quite a few turns to find some decent gear. If we are beset by fast zombies too soon I am not sure we will end up being able to fight off a party of hulks.

That being said, I am fully okay with the whole party dying :) We've only survived so far and never truly faced the risk of losing

I'll do random drawings of starting equipment, so everyone will have at least something to start with. @pbock has his perma-axe and @simplegame has the perma-shotgun, so as long as they play, you have 2 good weapons already, plus whatever is drawn as starting gear for the others.
