In South Africa, the 4th of July has no importance. We celebrate Freedom Day on 27 April as the day of the first democratic elections in our country. This started in 1994.

However, the 4th of July is my parent's anniversary, a day for which I am very grateful...

If you want to see the heart of someone listen to his words, if his words are not able to be held, be careful of him.

4th of July isn't celebrated in my country

On the 4th of July, the United States observes a federal holiday in honor of the Declaration of Independence. This holiday commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, by delegates from the 13 colonies.

If the Fourth of July falls on a Sunday, the federal observed holiday is the following Monday, July 5. If the Fourth of July falls on a Saturday, the observed holiday for most federal employees (but not all) is Friday, July 3.

July 4 is the commemoration in the Philippines of the Philippine Republic Day, or also known as the Filipino-American Friendship Day.

It was formerly an official holiday designated as Independence Day, celebrating the signing of the Treaty of Manila, which granted Philippine Independence from the United States of America in 1946. And now was celebrated during on every 12th of July.

So we can't say that we celebrate a holiday every July 4 here in Philippines now.. :)

Happy Independence Day to all Americans!

On holidays we usually go to the beach with the family and we spent two days enjoying it.

Or sometimes we just spend more time with family to take advantage of the time lost because of work.

Every year we vary our routine when it comes to vacations that is the most fun of all not always do the same.

I am from India but have heard of 4th of July and wish you.
As for us, we have a bunch of cultural holidays, religious festivals and yes, our Independence day is celebrated on 15th of August and we have to thank Mahatma Gandhi for it. Had he not unified the country, Independence would still be a dream for a country like ours with so many different languages, princely states and cultures.

whatever festival it is, food is the main attraction and preparing sweets is a task that is enjoyed by all. friends and relatives visit each other and gift sweets
thank you

Weeeell, I'm not from the US and we don't celebrate July 4th

Happy independence day to the Americans. Do enjoy the holiday!

My friend birthday

Gaming day :)

rarely celebrate anymore, so like most days, drink tea find things to do.

Hangout with Family

Unfortunately we don’t celebrate the 4 July, but I will regardless of that , drink today a beer ☺️

I don't think I know about the "July 4th celebration because it's not being celebrate here, but I will kindly give that a research on what makes the day to be celebrated in the United state

Generally in Venezuela we celebrate is July 5 (day of independence) and previously it was a holiday (not work) in which families used to go to the beach, walk, make meals to celebrate, be together had one another parade by the army and were broadcast on TV ... in the current situation of our country this celebration has become one more day, with the only difference that it is not workable, it is impossible to plan a small family outing for to be distracted by the high prices and the few things that can be done thanks to insecurity, people have lost their courage to almost all things ... We can only remember what the holidays were like and hope that everything changes ... .

Great info didn't know about July for Venezuela. Thanks for sharing.

I will celebrate the day by visiting on @bunnyopuncher's blog

I'm not in the states now, but when I was, the town I lived in had a parade. Every one would go to it but me. I would walk around the parts of town that were empty and enjoy the incredible peace for those two hours.

I'm not from the US and we don't celebrate July 4th... We have an independence day but its just a day off... there's a few soldiers marchs and stuff, but nothing big.

It's all about the fireworks in San Diego. We have several barges out in the bay and a great show each year. That is where you will find me, in the best place for a view I can get.

In my country it is celebrated on July 5, before we used to meet but it is a normal day, but not work

we celebrate independence day the 5th of july, tradition for holidays is the same that everywhere else... get drunk and have fun with family and friends! :)

No celebrations on July 4th In Nigeria.

It is just another day i have to work

I think it is already a holiday celebration since it shows a great demonstration of patriotism, people decorate and prepare so many things, they are excited for this day to arrive. No doubt the way this day is celebrated reminds a lot of Christmas even.

What kind of celebrations? I did not win

Today is a day for families and friends to gather together and have a cook-out. After dusk we either start lighting off fireworks at home or go somewhere to watch professional fireworks.

Here in Venezuela on June 4 is celebrated the day of the Architect.
Happy day to my husband @williamjose I love you so much!

Generally, we would cook out on the grill and have a picnic. This year, due to the hot weather, we are getting Kentucky Fried Chicken and eating in the air conssotioning!!

We celebrated the 5th of July in Venezuela.
Normally I stay at my house or I go hiking to the mountain.

here in venezuela is only celebrated on July 4 as the day of the architect

Congratulations to the winners. Many thanks to Bunnypuncher for this contest.
In my country, on July 5, we celebrate the Declaration of the Venezuelan Independence Act. That day is not workable. We take the opportunity to rest a little, visit the family, and depend on how our budget is to have a few beers

It’s just another day for us, but happy Independence Day to America.

Thanks for not selecting.

Thanks for the prize, bunny!
Congratulations to the other winners, good luck to everyone in the next!

Thank you so much for such a great contest.... Here in Pakistan we celebrate Independence day on 14th August.... I hope I will win the amount from this contest as I really need the steems to run the Free School for children...

Drink until you drop.

Write a post on steemit :D

I thought July 4,is the celebration of Fil-Am Friendship Day and we really celebrated this day with parade in.our school before but since I am living in Saudii Arabia for 20yrs. I don't know if they are still clebrating it's friendship day.
Thank you so much.

Here in venezuela we celebrate July 5, everyone stays at home and relax

Thanks for the contest. Pool time today!

Enjoy it outdoors in the sun with the neighbourhood

This is a general day for me and I am doing my duty.

In a holiday i love to do 2 things.
Get outside for a short tour with my family and with my friends.

Hello friend @bunnypuncher. I am from Venezuela and here is celebrated on July 5 The Day of Indepenence. Although in these times there is no reason to celebrate, since every day the country lives an extreme situation of hunger and poverty. But despite the vicissitudes we always remember our national dates with pride.

most times, i just sleep... the public holiday gives more time to sleep

I do not live in united states.

In Venezuela we have nothing to celebrate...

In Australia we celebrate Australia day. There's fireworks, parades and celebrations around the country. Most Aussies will generally have a BBQ with friends, drink beer and get drunk. You will always hear someone yelling 'Happy Straya day'!! Usely in a drunken bogan voice. Hope you have a great day mate.

On the feast, go to my relatives and then go with my friends to the cinema and then sit on the beach

In Venezuela we celebrate it on july 5th and its also MY BIRTHDAY tomorrow wohoo (=
have a great day @bunnypuncher

Thanks for this contest. Good luck to me

for sightseeing or a picnic

I do nothing, i dont go out neither do i do any activity..

Cook and eat together.

Go to tourist attractions

Sports together

Watch movies together

In my country everyone in their own, a lot of work.

Well in NIGERIA the July 4th is no even known by most people,so it's not celebrated here, so we all went to school today like a normal day and had lectures also

In my country it is not celebrated on July 4th, our day is July 5th, which is the signing of the Act of Independence, it is celebrated with military parades and a great exhibition of everything that the army has in its arsenal, accompanied by acts performed by the aviation corps.
I don't go to the parades, even though they are very colourful, because I don't agree with the fact that in my country there is such an exaggerated investment in arms and that there are whole families eating garbage and sleeping on the streets.
To celebrate, I go to the beach or the park to play football.

I live in Germany. So I don't care lol

In UK, there is no holiday on 4th July. The only benefit is as U.S. has an off so the workload here for the companies who are having the head office in U.S. is less.

So one can come early from office and it is usually a easy day in U.K. And gals can celebrate every day with their shopping :D (lolz) we dont need a specific day to shop :D

We really like to just blow things up!!!

ribs ribs and more ribs

The 4th of July is just a normal day for us folks in the Philippines

Well, I usually don’t do much of anything lol. Sometimes I’ll hang out with friends or family. For the past two years though, I watch them shoot fireworks outside my wind. I live next to a lake we’re they put on a fireworks show.

I'm very happy to have won finally. In my country it's a normal day, but for some people it is important

We celebrate our country's independence through fireworks at midnight and parade in the morning. This year will be a special one with a new government :)

in venezuela is a normal day on July 4 we usually do nothing but if we congratulate our American acquaintances and sometimes we go to their celebratory dinners or relatives, since really the 5th of july is the day of Independence is celebrated here, It is a holiday (not working), before the economic crisis that affects our family and I went to the beach, to parks or family gatherings, we took advantage of family time to catch up on everyone and so share with friends and neighbors, since we have a family philosophy that says even if you have little shares and you will always have for you too

Thank you so much @bunnypuncher!, and happy 4th of July!

It is very strong for us Venezuelans this situation that is currently happening in Venezuela we celebrate is July 5 (day of independence the Venezuela. (not work) in which families used to go to the beach, walk, make meals to celebrate, be together had one another parade by the army and were broadcast on TV ... in the current situation of our country this celebration has become one more day, with the only difference that it is not workable, it is impossible to plan a small family outing for to be distracted by the high prices and the few things that can be done thanks to insecurity, people have lost their courage to almost all things, But nevertheless we have hope that all that is happening is my country change. !!

In venezuela celebrate the independence day tomorrow July 5, is a holiday and there is no work, it is customary is attend the military parade, where a parade of all military forces and shows with aircraft and parachute, make this year to not be that prepares us e l President, because there is no much encouragement of celebration

July 4th ?? I slept all day long!

Coincidentally in Venezuela, our independence day is a day after that in the United States, on July 5, the day no school or work, very little to military parades, this year falls Thursday, my family used to visit my grandmother on the coast, taking advantage of the We call here Friday bridge and moves beyond the weekend

All things going wrong in life.

I am Venezuelan and I live in Venezuela, therefore I do not know how to celebrate, I know it is the Independence Day of the USA, but very little I know.

Oh please, let it be me this time :) :) :)
